Vision

Seeking to provide an outstanding level of pharmaceutical education, scientific research and social development in an effort to achieve leadership and excellence both locally and regionally.

Message

To mobilize potentials and employ them to provide an educational program that is compatible with the quality standards in order to supply the labor market with distinct pharmacists who have professional competency, ethical values and are able to compete in the pharmaceutical field; we are also committed to upgrade the purposeful scientific research system and maximize the community participation.

The scientific departments

The college comprises 6 scientific departments:

  • Pharmaceutics & pharmaceutical technology (CPT)
  • Pharmacognosy (CPG)
  • Pharmacology and biochemistry (CPB)
  • Microbiology and Immunology (CPM)
  • Pharmaceutical chemistry (CPC)
  • Pharmacy practice (CPP)

The program vision

To achieve scientific excellence and continuous development to serve the pharmaceutical healthcare system, and also to reach a highly advanced level in the field of clinical pharmacy.

The program message

To offer an exceptional educational program that complies with the quality standards in order to prepare pharmacists who are well qualified to participate in leveling up the healthcare system efficiency locally and regionally, and to cooperate professionally with the medical staffs in hospitals and healthcare centers by defining the right dosages and medical interventions.

The program objectives:

  • Development of education methods, encouragement of self-learning and learning that is based on competencies development, effective communication enhancement, leadership and entrepreneurship.
  • Graduating exceptional clinical pharmacists who are qualified to work in public and private pharmacies, pharmaceuticals companies, drug control and food analysis laboratories, hospitals and healthcare centers as well as in the field of media, marketing, researches, universities and drug information centers.
  • Commitment to meet the quality standards in the pharmaceutical education.
  • Provision of extraordinary academic and training programs to increase the competitiveness of the program graduates regionally.
  • Raising the health awareness of patients and rationalizing drug consumption in the hospitals.
  • To support the purposeful scientific research community that is oriented to serve the society and develop the environment.
  • To focus on the role of pharmacists when it comes to provision of adequate healthcare for patients inside and outside the hospitals.
